Carey has done the academic research to both promote and support the products. (really, you can look it up!) The black soap cleans well, and together with the mask softens and exfoliates my face (I can feel it working). Finally, the salve and butter seem to heal and protect my skin. The mask from KelpMineral is the best mask I have ever used. My favorite way to use it is an exfoliator first, then let it dry as a mask. The mask smells of the deep sea and feels so refreshing after washing away. My boyfriend loves it too! As a desert dweller, experiencing this sensory feeling of the ocean on my skin is such a treat.
