Carey has done the academic research to both promote and support the products. (really, you can look it up!) The black soap cleans well, and together with the mask softens and exfoliates my face (I can feel it working). Finally, the salve and butter seem to heal and protect my skin. I have used both on minor abrasions and the speed of healing is enhanced, it's amazing!
